Ruffling foot No. 86 (red)

For machines with 5.5 mm and 9 mm stitch width

The ruffler No. 86 is a specialist for easy ruffling and pleating of fabrics. Its variable settings allow you to vary both the pleat depth and the frequency of the ruffling.

The ruffler No. 86 can create a ruffle fold with every stitch, every 6th stitch, or every 12th stitch. It is also possible to sew without creating folds (ruffler position = 0) without changing the presser foot. The ruffling is created with the special ruffler blade.

As the needle moves up and down, a small amount of fabric is always caught and pushed under the needle. The result is clean and even gathering on home textiles or garments. The depth of the pleats can be adjusted continuously by turning a Phillips screw.

This foot is not suitable for BERNINA machines older than 1996.
