For machines with 5.5 mm and 9 mm stitch width

The 5-groove piping foot No. 31 is specially designed for sewing even piping on medium-weight fabrics.

A twin needle with a suitable needle spacing is required for piping. This ensures that the finished piping is the optimum size for the grooves on the piping foot. These grooves ensure an even spacing when sewing several parallel piping lines.

The generous recess in the center of the foot on the 5-groove piping foot #31 provides a good view of the area to be sewn. This piping foot is also ideal for sewing trimmings and mini piping, as well as for elastic gathering.

This foot is not compatible with BERNINA machines older than 1996.
