Petra AschwandenList Item 2I am a trained dressmaker. I completed my apprenticeship at the women's vocational school in Zurich in 1995. After that I worked as a freelance dressmaker. I joined the Kunze AG course team in 2004 and have been giving clothing sewing courses ever since. I sew on the Bernine 485, with the Bernina 1150 overlocker and the Bernina Cover L220.

Manuela Primessnig-HaefeliList Item 3I have been happily passing on my specialist knowledge as a clothing designer and textile technician (BA Textile Technology & Fashion Design) as a course leader at Kunze AG since 2013. I have specialized in the production of high-quality evening and wedding wear, but I am also in my element when it comes to efficient techniques or the sophisticated creation of patterns. I like to inspire my course participants with simple tricks that give the garment that certain something and guarantee success. (In my private life, I like to sew cocktail dresses, baby dresses or dirndls on my 430 and 555 and of course the 1110 D overlock.)

Gabriela MartinezI have been sewing with great enthusiasm since I was little. Back then it was small Christmas presents, now it is big ones. For family members or sometimes orders from people who like my work. My great passion for textiles really took hold of me 15 years ago. Before that I sewed dresses for my daughter. I owe my decision to go into patchwork to the batik fabrics. They inspired me to explore the shapes and colors. I still remember my very first course well. I was a "complete beginner" back then. But...... the fabric addiction had gripped me and I wanted to know more. Now I mainly attend courses in Germany with Pia Welsch. Courses in Steckborn, where I delve into the V7 embroidery software in particular, help me to fully live out my creativity on the sewing machine. At the moment I am teaching a small amount of TW at senior and junior/intermediate levels. I love giving people of all ages the motivation to discover their creativity on the sewing machine and the courage to put it into practice. I really enjoy passing on my passion in our courses. My favorite sewing machine is the Bernina 880. I take it everywhere with me. Even to courses abroad. It can take a lot of punishment. ☺) I also have a Bernina overlock that I use to sew dresses. I recently got a B330. I like to sew outside in the summer. My biggest success so far is the Nadelwelt, where I have already been able to exhibit 4 of my quilts under Pia Welsch. I am particularly proud of that.
